DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF A HEALTH CARE INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article studies the issues of development and implementation of the quality management system of a health care institution. The relevance of the topic of the study is due to the fact that the development and implementation of a quality management system is an urgent and necessary requirement of the time, without the implementation of which the development of an effective system and ensuring high results of management and functioning of a medical institution is impossible. It is determined that the development of a quality management system involves the design and implementation of processes necessary for the formation of its structure, its further functioning, support, the ability to maintain and continuously improve the level of quality of the medical institution. That is why the primary task in the design of such a system is the need to determine the identification of the processes that must be performed. The purpose of the implementation of the quality management system is to improve the quality and safety of medical care, improve the effectiveness of activities and management of a medical institution, increase the level of satisfaction of the population, patients with the level and quality of medical services provided. It has been revealed that the development and implementation of the quality management system of a health care institution is carried out in compliance with the following stages: formulation of the goal, strategy and strategic goals, quality policy and tasks that will ensure the achievement of strategic goals of quality assurance of a health care institution; training of managers and employees of a medical institution on quality assurance; formation of the organizational structure of the health care institution and the quality management system; definition of quality management processes and their documentation with the development of quality guidelines, development and adoption of quality management documentation; development and implementation of a measurement monitoring system and a set of quality control measures; implementation of actions to improve the system of analysis and management decision-making; putting the quality management system into operation and passing the certification procedure.
