INVESTMENTS IN TECHNICAL POTENTIAL OF HOTEL ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article examines the importance of investing in hotel industry technology. It is noted that automation and integration are key factors for hotel success. Key aspects of technology in the hospitality industry are outlined, including streamlining operations, improving the guest experience, effective communication, revenue management, sustainability and energy efficiency, marketing, data analysis. Attention is focused on the influence of mobile technologies and "smart" rooms on the processes of registration and stay of guests in hotels. The convenience of mobile applications for pre-registration and using smartphones as digital keys stands out. It is also noted that the "smart" rooms use Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and smart speakers to improve the comfort of guests. Various aspects of technology in the hospitality industry are covered, such as voice technology, chatbots, IoT-enabled minibars and data analytics. At the same time, data analysis plays an important role in personalizing hotel services and making smart decisions about hotel management. Hotels are said to be integrating security systems such as motion sensors, CCTV and access control systems to ensure the safety of guests and property. Technologies of contactless payments and digital wallets are described, which not only increase convenience for guests, but also reduce the risk of fraud. It examines the use of machine learning to detect fraud, which helps hotels analyze transactions and prevent possible risks. It is outlined that machine learning algorithms help strengthen security measures and protect guests from identity and financial risks. In addition, it was noted that hotels are actively paying attention to improving data security using cybersecurity protocols and encryption methods to protect guests' personal and financial information. It is well-founded that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests have become more appreciative of self-service technologies to minimize contact with staff and other guests. Investing in technology is the key to the future. The adoption of technology in hotels is accelerating as hotels strive for greater efficiency, so investing in technology is the key to the future.
