STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM, HOTEL AND RESTAURANT INDUSTRY IN THE REGION
Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is the development of an integrated approach to assessing the type of effectiveness of the tourism, hotel and restaurant development strategy at the regional level. Methodology of research. General and special methods of research are used in the course of the research, in particular: a systematic approach to substantiating scientific and methodological approaches in evaluating the strategy of regional development of the region, including in the tourism, hotel and restaurant sector; the method of complex analysis – to assess the effectiveness of the strategy of tourism, hotel and restaurant sector development at the regional level; the method of economic and statistical analysis – to substantiate the strategy of development of the branches of the region. Findings. The scientific and methodological approaches to the estimation of the strategy of sector development of the region, including in the tourist, hotel and restaurant sector are systematized. The development of a comprehensive approach to assessing the type of effectiveness of the strategy for the development of tourism, hotel and restaurant sector at the regional level has been carried out. The author's proposal is based on the use of the theory of r/K-selection of the population dynamics developed by the famous scientist Pierre François Verhulst. Originality. The author's methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the strategy of development of tourism, hotel and restaurant sphere at the regional level was developed, using which the identification of the type of the effectiveness of the strategy of development of the tourist, hotel and restaurant area of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast is identified and the specified territories according to the corresponding types are described. Practical value. The obtained results of the study, in which the presented method allows to carry out a comprehensive and systematic assessment of the strategic development of tourism, the companion hotel-restaurant area at the regional level, can be used in the substantiation of tourism and other industries of the regions.
