CONCEPTUAL PRINCIPLES FOR IMPLEMENTING SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT AT AN ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article substantiates the conceptual principles of implementing sustainable innovative development at an enterprise in the conditions of increasing uncertainty, increased competition, environmental challenges and social transformations. The concept of sustainable innovative development of an enterprise has been improved. It is proved that traditional approaches to management, focused exclusively on profit maximization, do not provide long-term competitiveness, which actualizes the need to integrate economic, social and environmental goals into the enterprise management system. Scientific approaches to interpreting the categories of "sustainable development", "innovative development" and "effective development" are summarized and the expediency of considering them in connection as the basis for the formation of a modern management model is substantiated. It is determined that innovative development is a key factor in ensuring the sustainable functioning of enterprises in a dynamic external environment and the formation of a multiplier effect, which is manifested in the growth of the market value of the business, increasing investment attractiveness and strengthening trust from stakeholders. The role of small and medium-sized enterprises as generators of innovation is analyzed and the main barriers to the implementation of sustainable innovations are outlined, related to the shortage of resources, high risk and long payback periods. Particular attention is paid to eco-innovations as a component of sustainable innovative development, which ensures a combination of economic efficiency with minimization of negative impact on the environment. A conceptual model of sustainable innovative development of an enterprise is proposed, which includes economic, social and environmental components and involves the use of strategic management, institutional support and risk management tools. It is concluded that the implementation of sustainable innovative development is a strategic prerequisite for ensuring long-term stability and competitiveness of enterprises in modern business conditions.
