CURRENT LEADERSHIP TRENDS IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL TRANSFORMATIONS
Abstract
The article provides a theoretical generalization of modern leadership trends in the context of global socio-economic, technological and value transformations. It is substantiated that leadership is increasingly viewed as a dynamic social process that is formed in the interaction between people and depends on the conditions of uncertainty, digitalization and social expectations. The features of scientific approaches to the modern understanding of leadership, which emphasize the role of trust, values and shared responsibility, are analyzed. Important global factors of leadership transformation are identified, including the growth of instability and crisis phenomena, digital transformation and the development of artificial intelligence, as well as increased attention to sustainable development, inclusion and employee well-being. It is shown that these factors determine the transition to human-centric leadership. Modern leadership trends are systematized, including adaptability, emotional competence, digital literacy, supporting a culture of continuous learning, developing psychological safety and combining technological solutions with humanistic values. It is substantiated that modern leadership performs not only the function of achieving results, but also ensures the formation of shared meanings, support for innovations and the sustainability of organizations in a changing environment. The leader appears as a carrier of values, a facilitator of interaction and a leader of change, capable of combining strategic thinking with attention to human potential. It is concluded that modern leadership is based on the integration of adaptability, digital competence and social responsibility, which determines the directions of further research in the field of organizational development. The results obtained can be used as a theoretical basis for further scientific research and practical developments in the field of organizational management. The materials of the article are of interest to researchers, teachers and practitioners who study the issues of modern leadership.
