INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article investigates the essence and practical aspects of introducing innovative approaches to project management as a key instrument for stimulating the economic development of enterprises in a competitive and dynamic environment. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical foundations and to develop practical approaches to the implementation of innovative project management methods aimed at increasing managerial efficiency and ensuring sustainable economic growth. The author’s contribution lies in the creation of an integrated analytical model that combines strategic vision, digital transformation, iterative coordination, and knowledge management within the overall system of enterprise governance. The research emphasizes the necessity of transforming traditional management systems into innovation-oriented structures capable of ensuring adaptability, transparency, and effective coordination of project processes. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the development of a conceptual and methodological framework for assessing the innovation level of project management using a system of quantitative and qualitative indicators that reflect the correlation between innovative activity, economic effect, and competitive advantage. The analysis of the Ukrainian market identifies sectoral and size-related differences in the implementation of innovative project approaches and provides practical examples of enterprises that successfully apply digital technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and flexible organizational methods in managing their project portfolios. The practical value of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed methodological approach to evaluate the innovation potential of enterprises, optimize resource allocation, and increase the return on investment in innovation projects. The conclusions emphasize that the integration of innovative methods into project management enhances the enterprise’s ability to respond to environmental changes, accelerates technological renewal, and contributes to the achievement of sustainable economic development.
