THE ROLE OF INVESTMENTS MANAGER'S INVOLVEMENT INTO THE HOTEL– RESTAURANT BUSINESS

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to determination of the effectiveness of involvement an investment manager in hotel-restaurant business. Methodology of research. A set of interrelated research methods has been used to solve the set tasks and to achieve a certain goal: theoretical – analysis and comparison of scientific literature and normative documents on the problem of innovative professional activity of an investment manager; synthesis and classification of documentary sources for more detailed study of the functions and tasks of an investment manager in the hotel-restaurant business establishments; generalization, systematization, by means of which the theoretical substantiation of the effectiveness of involvement an investment manager into the establishments of hotel-restaurant business has been carried out; modeling the activities of an investment manager in the hotel and restaurant business; economic – a calculation of economic efficiency of involvement an investment manager into hotel-restaurant business. Findings. It has been justified the necessity of involvement into the sphere of hotel and restaurant business area an investment manager for adjustment and increase of positions in the ratings of hotel and restaurant sphere at the level of the country, at the world level. It has been denoted the necessity of reorganization changes, changes in approaches to the hotel and restaurant business management, qualified personnel, attraction of investments, etc. The tasks and functions of the investment manager of the hotel and restaurant business have been formulated. Originality. It has been proved the economic efficiency of involvement an investment manager into the establishments of hotel and restaurant business for the purpose of control and expansion of investment and innovation activity, which provides improvement of the activity of the institution, increase of funds receipt, mobilization of investmen t resources of an institution, studying the prospects of investments and innovations implementation. Practical value. The determined theoretical and methodological basis has allowed to represent improvement of quality of the process of managing the efficiency of the hotel and restaurant business establishments activities. The calculated economic effect has shown the benefits of involvement an investment manager into the hotel and restaurant business. The results of the study are recommended to be introduced in the hotel and restaurant business establishments.
