INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT: NEW VALUE GUIDELINES FOR THE POST-WAR PERIOD
Abstract
The article examines pre-war investment trends, identifies problems caused by the aggressive war. It is noted that the destroyed infrastructure, mined territories and the affected economy require significant investment volumes. After experiencing the challenges of the war years, Ukraine and international investors will have unique opportunities for large-scale investments in the post-war period. At the same time, it should be noted that it is necessary to change the approach to investment management and its value orientations, to more widely master modern digital technologies that reduce risks and transform the business structure. New value orientations are substantiated that can become the basis for successful investment management in the post-war period: sustainable development, social responsibility, resilience and adaptability, innovation and technology, development of local communities, transparency and ethics, support for international partnership, inclusiveness. Factors of influence that interact with each other, forming the unique vision of each investor, are identified. The predicted investment trends for the post-war period regarding the recovery of the Ukrainian economy are outlined: green technologies (GreenTech), defense technologies (Defense Tech), medical innovations (HealthTech), artificial intelligence (AI), agro-industrial sector, industrial parks and infrastructure, financial literacy and education. The stages of implementing new value orientations of investment management are determined. The advantages of the proposed approach are revealed: economic recovery, increasing social stability, ensuring environmental sustainability, activating innovations and technological progress, expanding the attraction of international investments, supporting local communities, and increasing social responsibility. It is emphasized that new value orientations of investment management are critically important for ensuring economic growth, social stability, and environmental sustainability; they will become the basis for creating a balanced, inclusive, and progressive economy, which will allow adapting investment strategies to new realities and challenges of the time and ensuring harmonious development in the post-war period.
