РОЛЬ МОНЕТАРНОЇ ПОЛІТИКИ В КОНЦЕПЦІЯХ ДІЛОВИХ ЦИКЛІВ

Анотація

Стаття присвячена питанню ролі монетарної політики в концепціях ділових циклів. В результаті дослідження авторами відзначено, що у науковій літературі пояснення природи ділових циклів відбувається виходячи з факторів монетарної політики або показників, які характеризують виробничу сферу економіки (реальні бізнес-цикли). Відродження інтересу до інтерпретацій ділових циклів пов’язане з економічною кризою 2008-2009 років та пандемією COVID-19. Концепція Кідланда-Прескота, що ґрунтується на технологічних потрясіннях та максимізації трудових ресурсів як рушійних силах ділових циклів, пояснює причини спаду, що відбувся за пандемії COVID-19. У свою чергу, необґрунтована експансійна монетарна політика, як передумова економічної кризи 2008-2009 років, повністю відповідає поясненням неминучості спаду (депресії) з позиції Австрійської школи.
