PROBLEMS AND SOLUTION WAYS MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL PROVISION OF STAFF OF IT COMPANIES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF ADAPTATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the topical issues of determining the problems of solving material and technical support for the personnel of IT companies in the conditions of adaptation, working in a remote format of activity, the number of which is constantly increasing. The ratio of the number of IT specialists in Ukraine for 2023 working remotely from the total number of them for various reasons was analyzed: after the COVID-19 pandemic, since the beginning of a full-scale war, and internal migration. It was found that the remote work format for many IT companies and employees is only growing. Considered the challenges posed to companies by the remote format of work and changes in the geographical location of employees, namely: organizing and reviewing the processes of purchasing work tools and means of labor, organizing the delivery of this support to the location of the employee and its return after the termination of employment relations, reviewing the processes of carrying out regular and warranty work on equipment, search and conclusion of contracts with postal operator companies both in Ukraine and abroad, constant monitoring of the market regarding new players and changes in delivery costs, search for optimal conditions regarding delivery terms, the need to conduct an analysis of the geographical location of employees and the introduction of opening logistics hubs in those countries where they are concentrated, support for the sustainable development of logistics, organization of remote processes of personnel document flow. A simple logistics case of equipment delivery for an IT company with 1,275 employees, where 85% of them work remotely, was calculated, and it was determined that the cost of equipment delivery alone is UAH 586,000. for a year. Recommendations are offered regarding the usual processes of material and technical support of employees, personnel document flow and internal paper document flow in companies that support a remote format of activity. This will provide an opportunity for a deeper consideration of problems and analysis of the company's microenvironment, development of own approaches, review of usual processes and existing contracts for procurement and logistics of goods, optimization of costs, ensuring delivery in the shortest possible time, and rapid digitization of document flow within the company with existing contractors and employees.
