RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Purpose – retrospective analysis of social capital development. Methodology of research. Methodological basis of this study is dialectical method of cognition in which the object of study is taught as a dynamic system in the process of development. Formation of basic theoretical concepts, that form the system of the development of social capital, is based on dialectical, historical and systematic methods. In the process of research and summarizing scientific and applied methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction are used. The study is also based on legal and business documents, studies of research institutions and academic economists. Findings. The economic substance of the category of "social capital" is determined. So, it is a combination of socio-psychological, material and other personal characteristics of each person, which is the competitive advantage in the process of his/her activity in the social environment at all levels. Also found that the main theoretical concepts that form the system of the development of social capital include: human capital theory, social space networks; concept of social institutionalism, etatism, economics of knowledge. The effectiveness of the implementation of each of the above mentioned theoretical concepts is affected by both public and private institutions in the development of social capital. Originality. Revealed results of the research are the main theoretical concepts for the development of social capital in the context of the transformation of the socio-economic, labor relations and directions of state influence on this category (ensuring autonomy of doing business). Practical value. The results of the research is the basis for study and practical solution to the problem of effective development of social capital in the market economy in Ukraine. This applies primarily to providing effective social oriented activities of all entities.
