PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE
Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is to research the prospects of development of cooperation in agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine. Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods of economic research are used while writing the article, in particular: analysis and synthesis – in determining the structure of agricultural exports, a systematic approach – in studying the reasons that hinder the development of cooperation in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy; dialectical, abstract and logical – when carrying out theoretical generalizations and forming conclusions. Findings. The researches of prospects of development of cooperation in agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine are conducted. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the structure of agricultural enterprises in terms of organizational and legal forms of management. The classification of agricultural cooperatives on the characteristics of economic activity is proposed; the distinction between production and service cooperatives is analyzed on this basis. An analysis of the experience of introducing a cooperative approach in the agrarian sector of the economy of European countries is conducted in order to understand the prospects of cooperation in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy. The main factors hindering the development of cooperation in the agrarian sector of the economy are identified. It is concluded that the state support is of paramount importance through the implementation of state programs, the improvement of legislation in the field of cooperation and taxation, the creation of a favourable investment climate and attractive lending conditions for farmers. Originality. The further development of generalization of the main perspectives of cooperation in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy has been further developed. Practical value. The results of the study, separate provisions and conclusions of the article can be used in the educational process while teaching the following disciplines: “Agrarian Management”, “Marketing”, “Agrarian Economics”,etc.
