RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article provides a comprehensive study of the impact of digital technologies on the development of transport enterprises in the context of military risks, the transformation of logistics chains and Ukraine's European integration. It is argued that digitalisation is a strategic factor in ensuring the continuity of transport, increasing the adaptability of business processes and forming long-term competitive advantages. It analyses contemporary scientific approaches to interpreting digital transformation in the transport industry and identifies key areas for its implementation at the enterprise level. The main groups of digital technologies that determine the efficiency of transport companies' operations have been systematised, in particular telematics and IoT for vehicles, electronic document management and digital contracts, integrated management systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, CRM), big data analytics, artificial intelligence and digital twins, digital platforms for market participants to interact, as well as cybersecurity and digital protection technologies. It has been established that the introduction of telematics and IoT reduces fuel and operating costs, reduces downtime and improves transport safety. Electronic document management and digital contracts contribute to the optimisation of administrative processes, increased transparency of operations and reduced risks of information loss.It has been proven that integrated management systems create a unified information space for the enterprise, accelerate transport planning, increase order fulfilment accuracy, and reduce transport costs. The use of data analytics, artificial intelligence technologies, and digital twins creates the conditions for predictive management, route optimisation, improved customer service, and sustainable development. Digital platforms expand opportunities for cooperation with shippers, reduce empty runs, and improve the company's financial flows.It is emphasised that the effectiveness of digital transformation depends on the systematic implementation of technologies, their integration into strategic management, and an adequate level of cyber security.
