IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS INTO THE BUSINESS PRACTICE OF DOMESTIC COMPANIES: ORGANIZATIONAL AND MANAGEMENT TRANSFORMATIONS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the process of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals into the business practices of domestic companies in the context of organizational and managerial transformations. The transformation of approaches to the role of business in achieving the SDGs is revealed, and the transition from declarative support of sustainable development principles to their practical integration into the corporate governance system is substantiated. The impact of the SDGs on the formation of strategic priorities, business models, and managerial decision-making, as well as on the nature of interaction with stakeholders, is analyzed. The regulatory and institutional framework for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Ukraine is examined, and its role in creating prerequisites for involving the business sector in achieving national sustainable development priorities is determined. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of regulatory mechanisms largely depends on the readiness of companies for internal organizational and managerial changes, as well as on the availability of practical tools for integrating the SDGs into corporate governance systems. The benefits for business from integrating the Sustainable Development Goals are systematized, including economic, social, environmental, and managerial-strategic benefits. The levels of SDGs implementation in business practice are distinguished, covering strategic, organizational, operational, and communication levels, and the tools for their practical implementation are characterized. It is substantiated that key managerial transformations in the process of SDGs implementation include the formation of a sustainable development management system, the integration of ESG indicators into the performance evaluation system of managers, the development of a culture of corporate responsibility, and the use of the SDGs as a risk management instrument. The results of the study may be used in the development of corporate sustainability strategies, improvement of governance practices, and adaptation of business models to long-term sustainable development challenges in emerging economies.
