MECHANISMS FOR FORMING THE SYNERGETIC EFFECT OF CONSUMER COOPERATION ENTERPRISES UNDER CRISIS CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article presents the comprehensive study of synergy within the system of consumer cooperation in Ukraine under martial law highlighting it as a strategic factor ensuring the resilience, adaptability, and effectiveness of cooperative structures. The theoretical foundations of synergy in cooperative systems are substantiated, and its essence is defined as the result of non-linear interaction among resources, competencies, social capital, and self-organization mechanisms. It is grounded that wartime risks lead to profound transformation of synergistic mechanisms, giving them crisis-resistant characteristics that enable cooperatives to maintain functionality despite infrastructural destruction, logistical constraints, and socio-economic losses. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the key forms of synergy manifested during the war–organizational, economic, social, informational, and institutional–highlighting, in particular, the socio-value and community-oriented dimensions of cooperative activities. The fundamental principles of synergetic management have been identified, which ensure the emergence of a synergistic effect, whereby the potential of the system exceeds the sum of the potentials of its individual components. The mechanisms of generating synergistic effects under crisis conditions are systematized, including organizational-institutional, financial-economic, technological-innovative, social-communicative, logistical-territorial, psychological-managerial, and international intersectoral mechanisms. It is shown that their interaction produces a multilevel reinforcement effect enabling consumer cooperation enterprises to uphold stability and fulfil their social mission even in extreme conditions. It is emphasized that synergy functions not only as a mechanism of operational crisis response but also as a key potential for post-war recovery, modernization, and long-term development of the cooperative system. The directions for further research include the quantitative assessment of synergistic potential and the development of digital platforms for cooperative interaction.
