MANAGEMENT OF DEVELOPING AN EFFECTIVE CORPORATE CULTURE IN FOOD INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of managing the formation of an effective corporate culture in food industry enterprises operating in an environment of intense competition, high regulatory requirements, and constant consumer expectations regarding product safety and quality. It is substantiated that corporate culture in this sector acts not only as an intangible asset but also as a decisive factor in the stability of production processes, risk minimization, enhancement of staff loyalty, and the development of responsibility at all levels of management. It is identified that industry-specific features – technological complexity, the need for continuous quality control, and the importance of teamwork – increase the role of cultural norms regulating employee behavior in critical production situations. The article systematizes the key components of corporate culture in food industry enterprises, including the system of shared values, leadership styles, communication approaches, motivation practices, professional development, and social responsibility. It emphasizes the importance of forming a food safety culture based on compliance with international standards and internal regulations. The interconnection between the quality of communication within the team and the speed of response to changes in production processes, which affects the enterprise's performance, is demonstrated. A set of measures has been proposed to improve the effectiveness of corporate culture management: conducting a cultural audit, developing staff adaptation and training programs, implementing a transparent internal communication system, and promoting innovation and team interaction. It has been proven that consistent and purposeful management of culture contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of food industry enterprises, optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and building long-term partnership relations with consumers, employees, and the business environment.
