INNOVATIVE TRENDS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL MARKET
Abstract
The financial market plays a central role in the functioning of the modern economy, serving as a complex system of interactions between economic agents and reflecting structural transformations in the national economy. Its key function lies in the mobilization of financial resources directed towards meeting the needs of businesses and the population, as well as in creating mechanisms for state influence on economic processes. The financial market becomes particularly significant during periods of economic crises when the need to ensure macro-financial stability intensifies. Financialization has become one of the defining characteristics of modern economic development, shaping a new financial space where state regulation and market mechanisms coexist. Financial algorithms play a crucial role in this process by facilitating investment allocation, supporting startups, and implementing infrastructure solutions for business ecosystems. Despite the significant potential for economic growth generated by these changes, financial risks are also increasing, necessitating adaptive regulatory strategies and the active implementation of innovative approaches. The relevance of this study is driven by profound transformational changes occurring in the global economy under the influence of technological progress and new global challenges. Innovative technologies, such as financial technologies (FinTech), digital currencies, blockchain, artificial intelligence, financial process automation, and the development of ecosystem platforms, are fundamentally reshaping traditional approaches to the functioning of the financial market and driving its structural evolution. The significance of this research is further emphasized in the context of increasing financial risks associated with economic crises, political instability, and climate challenges, which contribute to uncertainty in the global financial environment. Addressing these factors highlights the necessity of an in-depth analysis of innovation processes in the financial sector and justifies the importance of this study.
