GENESIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DEFINITION "ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE ENTERPRISE"
Abstract
The article pays attention to the historical development of the concept of security in the context of its application in economic sciences. The implementation of the definition at the levels from global (state) to micro (business entities) has been studied. The stages of application and use in connection with forced historical needs during the development of market relations in most foreign countries are determined. This retrospective made it possible to form a vision of the definition and to single out its main components. The scientific study of literary sources, formed in the form of a submitted scientific article, allows to present an idea of the origin of this term in the theory of the economy of the enterprise and to summarize the achievements of scientists and practitioners. The division of the concept of "security" by meaning was also presented, which suggested a wide range of application of the term and its universality. Thus, the presented results deepened the meaningful characteristics of the given term and contributed to further searches. The scientific article contains, among other things, the legislative basis, which is represented by the analysis of state documents regarding the provision of economic security and the regulation of relations between subjects within the framework of this direction. It is worth noting that the study presents an array of analysis of the approaches of domestic and foreign scientists, whose opinion is based on different opinions regarding the formulation of the interpretation of the economic security of the enterprise. Among them, it is worth noting the representatives of the opinion on the formation of economic security through the activities of the enterprise, and those who contradict them and believe that the economic security of a legal entity cannot be created without the influence of the industry and/or sector of the economy in which it operates. Thus, the theoretical basis of the definition helped determine the levels of economic security and single out the characteristics inherent to the lowest level - the enterprise. In this direction, regarding the definition of the concept of "economic security of the enterprise", there is a wide range of scientific opinions and discussions, which prompted us to generalize and define the further field of research issues.
