THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATIVE RELATIONS IN THE AGRARIAN SPHERE OF THE ECONOMY
Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is the assessment of the development of cooperative relations in the agrarian sphere and substantiation of the directions and conditions for their activation. Methodology of research. The system of methods and methodological approaches were used in the research process. In particular, were used: monographic method – in determining the theoretical and methodological problems and practical aspects of the development of cooperative relations in the agrarian sphere of the economy; expert and analytical method – in assessing the state of cooperation as a form of self- organization of agribusiness in the context of current domestic realities of economic and social process in rural areas; economic and analytical method – in determining systemic problems of the development of the cooperative movement as the most efficient tool for the involvement of the small commodity producers to the system of organized agro-food market; method of economic forecasting – in substantiating the proposals on intensification of the development of cooperative relations. Findings. The theoretical and methodological problems and practical aspects of the development of cooperative relations in the agrarian sphere of the economy have been disclosed in the article. The thorough assessment of the cooperation as a form of self-organization of agribusiness in the context of current domestic realities of economic and social process in rural areas has been conducted. The state has been analyzed and systemic problems of the development of the cooperative movement as the most efficient tool for the involvement of the small commodity producers to the system of organized agro-food market, as well as social domain, including social capital. The mission of cooperation as a special form of agribusiness organization, as well as the mechanism of self-organization of producers to achieve high social and economic effect has been defined. It has been substantiated proposals on intensification of the development of cooperative relations based on quantitative characteristics – number of agricultural cooperatives with the ideological projection of prospects for this form of management for the domestic agricultural sector. Originality. Practical value. The obtained results of the research will contribute to activation of the development of cooperative movement and improving cooperative relations in the agricultural sector of the economy.
