SOCIAL CAPITAL AS A NEW FORM OF POSTINDUSTRIAL ECONOMY’S CAPITAL
Abstract
Purpose. Purpose of the article is the disclosure of nature and importance of social capital in the development of post-industrial economy in the conditions of technical, economic and scientific-technological transformations. Methodology of research. Theoretical and methodological basis of research is fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, scientific works of scientists, normative and legislative acts of Ukraine on Social Policy and Development Strategy of Ukraine. In research process the following methods was used: theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstract logical (to identify the nature of social capital as an economic category), monographic (at the study features of social capital in the transition to a post-industrial economy), a comprehensive approach (for generalization approaches to structuring social capital), systems analysis (at the study features of social organization preserve the integrity despite the disturbance of technological progress), structural and logical analysis (for building logic and structure of the research), monographic method (separate the four main areas of research of the social capital role in the development of post-industrial economy, anthropological, sociological, economic, and politological). Findings. The theoretical justification of the essence of economic categories "social capital" are overview, its common and special features with other forms of capital was compared. Components of social capital through prudent activities synthesis of approaches to structuring social capital was identified. Characteristics of postindustrial society, formed through prudent activities functioning social capital was determined. Four main research areas of the social capital role in the development of post-industrial economy was identified. Originality. Scientific novelty is the use of a systematic approach to study of the nature and importance of social capital to maintain the integrity of social organization in the transformation to a post-industrial economy. Practical value. The obtained results of research is the basis for solving practical problems in the design and implementation of social capital.
