INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES OF HR-MANAGEMENT IN THE CRISIS PERIOD: A THEORETICAL REVIEW

Abstract

The article presents a theoretical review of innovative technologies in HR management during crisis periods. The study clarifies the essence of the concept of «HR technologies» and generalizes scientific approaches to its interpretation. Based on the analysis of modern academic and practical sources, a systematization of the key innovative instruments used in human resource management has been proposed. Particular attention is paid to the use of advanced digital solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI), chatbots, gamification, cloud-based technologies, big data analytics, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), and mobile applications. These technologies facilitate the automation, optimization, and personalization of HR processes, ensuring increased operational efficiency and adaptability of organizations in times of instability. The article also provides a detailed classification of innovative HR technologies by functional areas, including: recruitment and selection, onboarding and adaptation, training and development, employee motivation, performance evaluation, performance management, career planning and strategic development, corporate culture management, optimization of HR processes, remote work organization, and employee information management. This classification allows for a better understanding of the scope of technological tools available to HR professionals and their impact on various aspects of human resource management in dynamic and uncertain conditions. The findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of HR innovation and provide a structured framework for future empirical studies. The paper may also be useful for HR professionals and decision-makers aiming to implement advanced technologies for greater workforce resilience and business continuity in unpredictable environments. Furthermore, the article highlights the growing importance of digital competence among HR managers as a prerequisite for the effective implementation of technological innovations. Developing relevant digital skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning are emphasized as strategic priorities for building adaptive and future-ready HR departments.
