PROSPECTS FOR THE RESTORATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL FLOWS IN UKRAINE AFTER THE END OF THE WAR
Abstract
Despite the challenging situation caused by the war, Ukraine remains attractive to foreign investors, as investment can significantly accelerate economic recovery, help create new jobs, and drive innovation. Investors focus on sectors that have high profit potential and can compete in global markets. An important direction for Ukraine in the future is to strengthen relations with foreign partners and actively attract investment to recover from the war. The concept of “investment” and its impact on economic processes within the country are considered. This requires focusing on priorities such as rebuilding infrastructure, developing strategic industries, improving the legal system, and creating a favorable business climate through simplified regulation. Another key factor is to provide support to investors at all stages of project implementation, which will help build their confidence in long-term prospects. In addition, Ukraine's integration into international economic and financial structures will facilitate stable capital inflows, which will accelerate the recovery process. Foreign investors interested in Ukraine are focused on sectors that can generate high profits and produce products that are competitive on the global market. In the future, Ukraine's main investment priorities will be to strengthen partnerships with foreign countries and to attract additional financial resources for the country's post-war reconstruction. The authors believe that Ukraine has great potential for attracting investment due to its skilled labor force, access to natural resources, and strategic geographic location. They suggest focusing on the opportunities offered by the post-war reconstruction process, including the need to rebuild infrastructure, modernize the economy, and attract investment in key sectors. It also emphasizes the need to strengthen the legal system and the rule of law to create a favorable business environment, fight corruption, and ensure stability. It is also important to simplify regulations, reduce bureaucratic barriers and ensure transparency to make the business environment more attractive to investors.
