ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS DIGITALIZATION TRENDS

Keywords: business digitalization, artificial intelligence, business process automation, cloud technologies, financial technologies

Abstract

The article substantiates that business digitalization, both in Ukraine and globally, is a key factor for economic development in the period of 2018-2026. It argues that the main digitalization trends—such as the adoption of artificial intelligence, business process automation, development of cloud technologies, and financial technologies—contribute to operational efficiency and cost reduction, especially in the manufacturing, logistics, and financial services sectors. It is shown that in Ukraine, the implementation of digital solutions is actively supported by government initiatives, particularly through programs like "Diia," which enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adapt to modern conditions. The article argues that infrastructure development, including the expansion of high-speed internet coverage, encourages greater business participation in national and international trade. The study proves that the integration of artificial intelligence and IoT will optimize production and logistics processes, particularly in agriculture, which will be a significant focus for Ukraine in the coming years. It is substantiated that cybersecurity has become a priority task for businesses worldwide, with spending on security rising significantly due to the increasing complexity of business systems and the surge in cyberattacks. The article argues that Ukrainian companies, especially those operating in international markets, are compelled to invest in advanced solutions for data protection and operational security. Thus, it is demonstrated that the main challenges of digitalization in Ukraine lie in the underdeveloped infrastructure in remote regions, which could slow down the digitalization of small enterprises. However, it is argued that further investments in digital infrastructure and government support will help level access to digital solutions across different regions. The article asserts that business digitalization will remain a key direction of economic development up to 2026, with its impact being particularly significant in the context of global changes and challenges.
