MONITORING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION: SYNERGY BETWEEN ACADEMIC STANDARDS AND STAKEHOLDER EXPECTATIONS
Abstract
Contemporary conditions of global and national economic development require constant improvement of the financial sector personnel training system. Consequently, ensuring high-quality educational services in HEIs is a critical factor for competitiveness and sustainable development. The aim of this article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the mechanisms ensuring the quality of educational services in higher financial education, using the "Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market" educational program as a case study. To achieve this goal, an empirical study was conducted at Bukovinian University in 2025. The methodology relies on monitoring results involving 86 students and 22 graduates, which enabled a multi-dimensional assessment of consumer satisfaction with educational services. The analysis of the data confirms the high competitiveness of the program on the educational services market. Specifically, 95.3% of respondents expressed full satisfaction with the quality of instruction and the level of professional training. Furthermore, 87.2% of surveyed participants highlight an optimal balance between theoretical content and practical tools. The research proves that HEI educational management depends on the synergy between state academic standards and the subjective expectations of stakeholders, including students, faculty, and potential employers. Priority areas for modernizing the educational product were identified. The main challenge is the need to technologize educational services by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools and expanding interdisciplinary links. The article formulates specific recommendations for adapting curriculum content to the requirements of the digital economy and the dynamic FinTech sector. Implementing these measures will ensure high professional demand for graduates in both national and global labor markets, guaranteeing their readiness to handle complex analytical challenges and adapt to modern economic transformations.
