FORMATION OF INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL IN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES UNDER MARTIAL LAW
Abstract
In recent years, Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have faced cardinal challenges caused by a full-scale war. The loss of production capacities, the occupation of territories, the complication of logistical processes and the instability of the market environment have significantly affected the efficiency of the functioning of agricultural business entities. In these conditions, traditional factors of competitiveness have lost their effectiveness, which necessitated the search for new approaches to ensuring the stable development of agricultural business. This article analyzes the essence, meaning and structure of intellectual capital as one of the main sources of competitive advantages of agricultural enterprises in martial law. Scientific approaches to the definition of intellectual capital are considered, its role in ensuring innovative development, increasing management efficiency and adaptability to crisis circumstances is specified. The role of intellectual capital in the context of the activities of agricultural enterprises is determined. A critical analysis of the current state of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine was conducted and attention was focused on the need for strategic management of intangible assets, in particular, knowledge, personnel skills, information resources and partnership systems. The study also identified key advantages of intellectual capital for the agricultural sector in conditions of increased risks and uncertainty. Practical conclusions were formulated regarding the prospects for integrating intellectual capital into the management policy of enterprises, and the need for consistent investment in the development of human potential, digitalization of production processes and strengthening the institutional capacity of farms was substantiated. Thus, the article proves that intellectual capital should become not only an internal resource for growth, but also the basis for building long-term competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine in conditions of modern challenges.
